Flickr has launched it’s new Flickr Uploadr on 21 January 2009. The new Flickr Uploadr version is Version 3.1.3.
The Flickr desktop uploader sits on your desktop for heftier uploading needs or offline photo management. Drag and drop single photos or videos, or select a whole folder. Even reorder how photos will be displayed in your photostream.
I used Flickr Uploadr Version 3.0+ before and it gave me a lot of trouble and I had to switch to Version 2.5 which is much simple but more stable. I have tried to use this new Flickr Uploadr to upload some albums and so far it does not cause much problem. Maybe my Internet connection now is stable. I will report problem here when I encounter one.
What’s new in Flickr Uploadr Version 3.1.3? At first glance, I didn’t see much different much if compared to version 3.0. The major changes is the new uploader support video upload up to 150MB and also maybe some bug fixes.
If you use Flickr Uploadr too to upload your photos to flickr.com, you can get the latest software from http://www.flickr.com/tools/

I’m disappointed with the new version
– During batch processing, I try to upload 100+ photos and it hang at 2nd photo. There is no retry option and I have to cancel it.
– When uploading first batch, I added second batch, but the second batch disappear after I click the upload button. Wasting my time on selecting the photos.
