Last Sunday went to a newly open restaurant at Bandar Puteri, Puchong with a few friends for lunch – The Lok Lok Street Steamboat. The restaurant is opened by one of my ex-colleague.
The idea of the restaurant is quite impress. Instead of having “lok lok” and sweating at the road side, you now have it in the air-conditional restaurant. Friends and family can enjoy “lok lok” togehter in a such a comfortabl and harmony enviroment.
There is a “lok lok” lorry inside the restaurant and the “lok lok”s are sit behind the “lok lok” lorry.
There are variaty types of “lok lok”… around 70 to 80 types of “lok lok” according to the boss. Price range from RM0.50 to RM6.00 per “lok lok”. Without thinking much, four of use grabbed 6 plate of “lok lok”s and start cooking lok lok.
Special home made sauces. Highly recommend the middle one.. Mix it with “wantan” mee cooking with herbal soup.. yummy!
Each table has it own pot of soup. They have four types of soup: Satay, Clear Soup, Tom Yam and Herbal. You can choose either two of those soup. We chose herbal and satay soup as our lok lok soup.
We had our lunch and chit-chat there untill 3pm.
The staffs there were pretty friendly. Maybe that day is the first day of their opening, I feel a bit “kelam-kabut” there. Anyway, it is a nice place to go.. for lunch or dinner… nice enviroment, nice taste and not too expensive also.
The place is easy to find, it is just located next to the Giant Puchong. Below are address and contacts:
