Last saturday and sunday went to Pahang with a few friends. At first, our plan was going to sungai lembing to climb up (walk up the stairs actually) to the Bukit Tapis but we also stopped at a few places on journey to and back from sungai lembing.
At first we went Tasik Chini to see red lotus and visited a “orang asli” village on other edge of the lake.
Then we went to Teluk Cempedak, a nice and clean beach.
Then we reached Sungai Lembing at night. We stayed overnight there and wokeup at 4.30am. We walked up to the Bukit Tapis and it took about 45 minutes to reach the top of the hill. Unfortunately we unable to see to sun rise. After we had came down from the hill, we took our breakfast near a morning market there and walked around some places in the village of Sungai Lembing.
About 2pm sunday, we went to Cherating to drink coconut water. The coconut was not fresh and the beach is not as nice as Teluk Cempedak.
After that we went Kemaman to taste the famous coffee at “Hai Bin” coffee shop.
…. then we went back home. We used around RM100/person for the trip including foods, rent 2 bots at Tasik Chini, rent a house at sungai lembing and petrol for 2 cars. A trip that really made me feel relax from my busy daily work.
