Just checked my site at google, my site was listed in google search engine. Without submitting my url to google ordinary’s website submission, my site was listed within one day (more specifically less than 8 hours).
Yesterday I made some changes to my blog, I installed a wordpress plugin. The plugin is a sitemap generator by dirkz. This is the post:
Google Sitemaps by dirkz, a great plugin for wordpress
After the plugin’s installation, I submitted the my Google Sitemaps (generated by the plugin) to the Google Sitemaps submission site this early morning (about 1 am ++, timezone +8.00). Just now (about 2 pm plus), I did a search of my site’s domain name at google and it was listed. I have 6 posts in my site so far and Google bot crawled 2 of them.
Then I checked my Google Sitemaps account, Google downloaded my site’s Google Sitemap (http://www.szehau.com/sitemap.xml.gz) 8 hours ago (around 6 am). That means my site was crawled and listed by Google bot between 6 am and 2 pm. That’s really efficience!
If you want your blog or website to be listed in google search engine fast, maybe you can try to create a Google Sitemaps for your site and submit the sitemap to Google Sitemaps. The Google Sitemaps protocol can be found here:
Not very sure whether it is because of I have generated the sitemap and submitted to Google Sitemap that makes my site get listed faster. But it is worth to give it a try!

OOh~ That’s good! :) It does seem that Google’s spider haven’t crawled into my FelixLeong.com domain yet. Guess it takes some time? Not to mention that my Adsense in The Digital Blue Wave still stuck with having all those ads about blogging instead of some technological related stuff. Hmm… I wonder why? (Because of ad placement, I assume?)

LcF: Just checked my site at google.com again. OPPS! My site is gone :( Don’t know what’s happened to Google search engine. Maybe Google’s search engines at other data centers haven’t catch up the update …
Seh Hui: Google search engine and Google Adsense have their own spider respectively. Maybe you can try to remove those “blog” related keywords on your site and try to put more technological related keywords at your links and post’s title.

Hmm… I’ll give it a try :).
