Java Technology is celebrating its 10th birthday at JavaOne conference. You can read more about JavaOne conference here.
I’m still remember the first time I learn java programming language is in my second year of university. That time I was still learning how to use AWT interface components and I had used a few days to just display some images and buttons on a window. Haha, maybe that time I’m still very fresh with programming languages.
Now, I’m more familiar with it already and learnt to use some of other Java Technologies, such as midlet in J2ME and servlet/JSP in J2EE.
In my opinion, Java is pretty easy to learn and master. Nowadays there are many tools like IDE that you can used to speed up the development time. But I still prefer to use notepad as my editor :) In this case, I wouldn’t miss out to learn anything that has been done by those ‘advanced tools’.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Java!
